John Page
Born and raised in San Diego county, John studied and competed in High School Wrestling, winning First and Second in State three years in a row; Track and Field first place finishes in 100, 200 and 440-yard dash, broad jump, shot put, and Javelin; Swimming, 100, 200 and 400 yard individual races, and Gymnastics. Competing in College Wrestling, John won second in State, Track and Field numerous first place awards, and Gymnastics. John also demonstrated Tumbling and Gymnastics as well as Trampoline acrobatics at College Basketball halftime activities.
John studied Karate and Tae Kwan Do in the US Navy’s UDT school in the ’60’s. This included studies in Nei Gung applications with Grand Master Kwan in the ’60’s. John started studies in Tai Chi Chuan with the Wu style in 1975 in San Francisco. He continued his studies in San Diego with Master Henry Cheng. In 2000 John started studying with Grand Master Eddie Wu and several of his Disciples. He continues practicing and learning as well as teaching the aspects of this art form today.
Education included studies at UC Davis, Stanford and Caltech with degrees including B.Sc., BSEE, M.Sc., M.Ed. and Candidate in PhD at Cal Tech in Plant Biochemistry, Electrical Engineering and Molecular Biology. John was a Diver in the US Navy and also a Navigation Supervisor in POLARIS, Poseidon and Trident Fleet Ballistic Missile submarines. John resigned his commission as a Lieutenant Commander, having risen through the enlisted ranks to First Class Petty Officer and then attending Naval Enlisted Scientific Education School at Stanford where he earned his Officer Commission, to pursue other studies in College.
Certified in the 108 Standard and 54 Round forms by the International Wu Style Federation, John has accumulated over 9,000 hours of study in Tai Chi Chuan. He has competed in both local and International Martial events and has many First Place ribbons and trophies.

Lily Kang
Lily Kang is certified to teach the International 108 Standard Form by the International Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan Federation. Lily came to the United States from Mainland China. She started studying Tai chi in 2003 and won 1st place awards in International competition for 108 forms, 2nd place in 108 Tai chi sword form She has a bachelor degree in Chinese Literature, worked as a journalist, then as a Software Engineer. She is currently teaching Chinese at the San Diego Chinese Academy.
